Melissa L. Kauffman

A veteran pet industry journalist, I've covered pets, their people and the industry for 30 years. There’s almost no type of pet service my pets haven’t tried and pet products I haven't tested while working for various magazines and websites, from dog, cat, bird, fish and reptile to small critters. Half of my paycheck is guaranteed to go to pet stores and vets, keeping my pets in the life of luxury I wish I was living. When not working, my husband, two dogs, two parrots and I travel the U.S. in our RV. 

I'm a print and digital content creator and editor with years of experience editing, writing and creating. I've trained under the best editors and digital marketers, plus constantly update my skill set. I believe work should be fun and that great content makes everyone's life better. I love to write about anything and everything, including travel and people and company profiles.  This includes a lot of experience with product testing and write-ups, along with sponsored content.
